NHMTA PRESIDENT
Bob became the President and CEO of the New Hampshire Motor Transport Association on September 19, 1989. He has helped develop many of the successful Association programs that benefit NHMTA members today. These programs include the NHMTA Fleet and Cargo Insurance Program, the Voluntary Dental Plan, the Drug and Alcohol Random Testing Program, and the Workers Compensation Program. Bob also contributes writings to the NHMTA monthly newsletter updating our members with Legislative issues and offering legislative support in the NH Legislature. He is a registered lobbyist for NHMTA and has successfully lobbied to establish NHMTA as one of the most effective trade associations on record.

RUSSELL MACCLEERY
LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS
A New England Representative for the National Highway Users Conference (NHUC), establishing state highway user conferences in New England, Russell has been active in the Transportation industry for many years. After his retirement in 1978, he continues to do integral work for NHMTA. He is responsible for hiring Robert J Sculley in 1989, and working closely with Bob in many legislative issues regarding trucker’s rights.
PAULA W. MCLAUGHLIN
ASSISTANT TRUST ADMINISTRATOR
Paula has worked for NHMTA since January 1996. Paula, like the other staff at NHMTA, has a variety of duties from overseeing the Employee Health Care Trust and the Workers Compensation Trust while also maintaining and overseeing the accounting functions for NHMTA. Paula works closely with the President of NHMTA to maintain the overall health and prosperity of NHMTA.

VERA TUCKER
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Vera has worked for NHMTA since October 1993. Her primary role is handling membership services such as answering Federal and State regulations questions. She monitors the Random Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, the NHMTA Intrastate Household Goods Tariff. Vera coordinates all off site events such as the Annual Truck Driving Championships, the Winter Conference in Key West, and the Annual Golf Outing. She also assists with articles for the newsletter and the annual directory.

DONNA DAUGHERTY
CLAIMS ASSISTANT
Donna has been a member of the NHMTA team since November of 1999. Donna has a new position with the Assn. Donna works with the NHMTA Self Insurance Group Trust as an administrative assistant processing claims.

GEOFFREY H. DOUGHTY
DIRECTOR OF SAFETY & LOSS CONTROL
Geoffrey Doughty is NHMTA’s Director of Safety and Loss Control. His primary responsibilities focus on providing direction and support to our members in all aspects of promoting safety, providing safety training, and correcting those environmental factors that contribute to personal injuries in the workplace, both in terms of property matters, but also in the area of company policies and work culture. He also coordinates the quarterly NHMTA workers’ compensation trust safety meetings and provides safety articles for the monthly NHMTA Newsletter.

CECILIA G. LOISELLE
CLAIMS MANAGER
Cecilia has more than 27 years experience in the workers’ compensation business sector. She has held positions as Claims Coordinator to Claims Supervisor with Compensation Funds of NH and a multi-line Senior Claims Adjuster for Commercial Union Insurance Company. She is a licensed adjuster in both New Hampshire and Vermont.
Cecilia has excellent knowledge and experience in the workers’ compensation field with self-insured and fully insured programs.
In November of 2005 she joined the New Hampshire Motor Transport Association team as the Claims Manager. She manages their workers compensation claims and participates in the development and expansion of their self-insured programs.

KAREN SHEA, RN CCN
DIRECTOR OF MANAGED CARE
Ms Shea received her Diploma in Nursing in 1982 and brings twenty four years of diversified skills and experience to New Hampshire Motor Transport Association. In her early career, she worked in various specialty units such as ICU, ER and Dialysis. Over the past sixteen years her energies have been focused on providing high quality case management services to medical as well as workers' compensation clients. She has worked for several entrepreneurial organizations using her creative talents in the design and implementation of their nursing programs. Promoted into management roles she easily assumed responsibilities for hiring, training, oversight of nursing operations and management of program integrity. Her ability to successfully work in team environments and her proven problem solving skills will be beneficial in her new role as Director of Managed Care Services for NHMTA. In 1997 she obtained her national accreditation from the Commission for Case Manager Certification and maintains her credentialed status at present. She has been certified by the DOL since 1999 as an Injury Management Facilitator.

SUSAN SHIMANOSKI
SENIOR CLAIMS CONSULTANT
Susan came to NHMTA in 2007 with 30 years workers’ compensation experience. Prior to joining NHMTA she had worked at Liberty Mutual, Maine Bonding, Acadia Insurance and CCMSI. At NHMTA Susan is adjusting the claims for the self insured trust members. She frequently visits with clients and their injured employees to conduct thorough claim investigations and determine the best course in the adjustment of their claims. She has been instrumental in obtaining substantial reimbursement for her clients from the Second Injury Fund and she attends hearings in disputed cases at the NH Department of Labor.

SHEILA SURMANIS
BOOKKEEPER
Sheila handles the accounting functions and prepares the financials for the Employee Benefit Trust, Self-Insurance Trust, Vermont Truck and Bus Association and New Hampshire Motor Transport Association along with all the receivables and payables. She has been with the association since November 2005. She recently received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance.

BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR
Christina has been working for NHMTA since 2007, initially Christina assumed the role of receptionist answering the many phone calls to the association. She now focuses solely on the benefits offered through NHMTA as our health benefit trust and voluntary dental programs have grown over the past few years.

MIRIAH COLMAN
RECEPTIONIST
Miriah recently joined the staff at NHMTA in July 2009. Miriah greets visitors to NHMTA whether by phone or in person. She prepares and sends out the mailings and emails that our members receive regarding events and seminars. She responds to inquiries for information and setting up meetings and seminars for members.
