Ross Express Moves to New Connecticut Terminal

Effective January 30, 2012, Ross Express’ Connecticut terminal is operating out of a new 24 door state-of-the-art facility at 38 Kripes Road in East Granby. Located in the Bradley Business Park with ready access to interstate highways, it will serve the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts areas, replacing an older facility in Enfield, CT.

Situated on 11.3 acres, the 14,000 square foot building is equipped with energy saving features in lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and contains an electronic alarm system, computerized camera security system, standby generator and a high speed data network.

Stephen Brown, President of Ross Express, Inc, notes that, with its location just off the runways of Bradley International Airport, the company will be positioned to provide expanded service to the air freight industry in addition to direct overnight service within the six New England states.

Based in Boscawen, NH, Ross Express is a 65 year old transportation services company with terminals in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. The company focuses on general commodity business-to-business shipments, with next-day service to most communities in New England.
